voices of justice

Exploring Gender and Economic Injustice

March - April 2025

Voices of Justice is a four-week art exhibition that investigates systemic social issues, particularly the intersection of gender and economic inequality, through teens' creative expression. Transforming an empty space into a gallery of society, art became a form of activism. Twenty-three student artists contributed twenty-six works that wrestled with the social issues, demanding conversations. Over 180 people walked through the exhibition, and it caught the attention of BC the Mag. Every dollar raised went directly to Restore Justice, a nonprofit working to repair the systems that many of the artworks critiqued.
